Thousands of people wore yellow yesterday to support this sick little boy
THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE around the world wore yellow yesterday to support a little boy with a severe immune system disorder.
Because of his condition, 5-year-old Seth Lane from Northamptonshire, England has to live in a sterile room (or ‘bubble’) to protect him from infections.

This means that he hasn’t been able to attend school or even play with other children – and he will be having a bone marrow transplant next month, meaning even more isolation as he recovers.
To cheer him up, his parents decided to ask the internet to wear his favourite colour, yellow, on March 27.
“#WearYellowForSeth is something we’d like to do to be able to show Seth all the people in the world that are thinking about him,” Seth’s mother Leanne wrote on the family blog.
And many people (and dogs) did just that yesterday, wearing sunny yellow to remind Seth that he is not alone. They’ve been sharing their outfits in the #WearYellowForSeth hashtag:

Plenty of celebs joined in too, including Ashton Kutcher, Phillip Schofield and the cast of Sesame Sreet.
And here is little Seth himself, sporting yellow on his big day:

Seth’s family has asked people to donate to the Bubble Foundation, a charity that helps children born without an immune system - you can donate here.
